HNK Hajduk issued a new official statement on Thursday, August 13, 2026, regarding the potential partnership with the company WhiteBIT, directly responding to the claims made by Ivica Pirić in Slobodna Dalmacija. The club from Poljud states that Pirić was not part of the official discussions between Hajduk and the company, and they consider his statements to be inaccurate.
In the statement from Poljud, they emphasize that official talks about a possible collaboration were conducted exclusively with representatives of WhiteBIT. "As we have previously communicated, HNK Hajduk conducted official communication with representatives of the company WhiteBIT. Ivica Pirić was not involved in communication on the official side, so we are not surprised by the misinformation communicated today in Slobodna Dalmacija," the club stated.
Hajduk also referred to its previous statement, noting that the offer for a potential collaboration with WhiteBIT contains many elements that need to be carefully reviewed before a final response. The official offer from WhiteBIT arrived at the Split club's address about a month ago, but no response has been sent from Poljud yet.
The club now reveals additional details of the offer. "One part of the partnership offer referred precisely to access to our members and fans, on which potential bonuses would directly depend," Hajduk states. This segment has recently become the central part of the entire story, and Hajduk now publicly acknowledges that the collaboration plan included engagement related to members and fans.
The most striking part of Hajduk's reaction, however, is the announcement that the club, although it is not common business practice, is ready to go a step further and publish the WhiteBIT offer itself. "That is why we are obliged to refute the incorrect claims that Ivica Pirić made today in Slobodna Dalmacija, and although it is not business practice, we are ready to publicly disclose the offer to protect the integrity of the Club, its members, and fans," they state from Hajduk.
At Poljud, they clearly believe that this situation has already crossed the boundaries of normal business negotiations and that it is necessary to protect the club's reputation and its relationship with its membership. It remains to be seen whether the club will indeed take the unconventional step of publishing the content of the offer that has sparked so much controversy in recent weeks.
