After 13 years, Biograd na Moru will once again host one of the largest motorcycle events in Europe, with organizers announcing a rich program and significant tourism impact on Zadar County.
Biograd na Moru will officially host the 33rd edition of the European Harley Owners Group (H.O.G.) Rally in June 2027, confirmed Harley-Davidson in a statement reported by eZadar. The international event will run from June 10 to 13, and estimates from the last edition held in this city indicate that the rally could attract over 50,000 visitors and approximately 25,000 motorcyclists.
According to the announcement, organizers are preparing three evenings of free concerts, a large Harley-Davidson zone, the presentation of 2027 models, and test rides. Visitors will be able to view an exhibition of custom motorcycles, participate in organized rides through the region, and visit numerous exhibitors and dealers from across Europe. Admission to the entire program will be free.
The European H.O.G. Rally was last held in Biograd in 2014, and according to eZadar, it attracted over 50,000 people, including approximately 25,000 bikers and 10,000 members of the Harley Owners Group from numerous European countries. One of the most memorable moments was a large motorcycle parade connecting Zadar and Biograd, while Zadar's Forum hosted an exhibition of custom Harley-Davidsons. The city first hosted the rally in 2011, and after that, the event returned to Croatia in 2025 in Medulin, and was held in 2026 in Cascais, Portugal.
The return of the rally to Biograd means more than just a few days of events at a single location. If the numbers from 2014 are repeated, the start of the tourist season could bring a strong wave of visitors to the entire Zadar County, benefiting accommodation facilities, hospitality, marinas, and local transport providers, writes eZadar.
Harley-Davidson has not yet released a detailed program or the route of the traditional parade, so it remains unclear whether motorcyclists will ride through Zadar again and whether some activities will be organized on the Peninsula, as was the case in 2014.
