According to him, the woman had traveled from Poland for the first time in a long while to see him. During the bus ride, other passengers began making remarks about her speaking Russian, which escalated into a physical altercation.
The soldier described the sequence of events in detail. "My mother came to Ukraine, and Lviv's patriots beat her up because she doesn't speak Ukrainian, and threw her off the bus. Now she's standing by the road waiting for another bus. So why should I even defend you?" he wrote on Instagram, as reported by the Telegram channel Rusvesna SU. The woman sustained visible injuries, and he also posted a photo of her with a bruise under her eye.
