Karlovac Gears Up for a Grand Celebration: Severina, Grašo, and a Free Train for Visitors

At the end of August, Karlovac will become the epicenter of fun and good times. Namely, from August 28 to September 1, 2026, the Beer Days will be held for the 39th time, an event that attracts numerous visitors. The organizers have prepared a diverse program featuring musical performances, a rich selection of food and drinks, and free transport for those coming from Zagreb.
The main event will take place in the historic city center, in Zvijezda, where the program will unfold across two stages. The grand opening is scheduled for August 28, followed by a performance by Severina on the main stage. That same evening, Minea will take the stage at the Gastro Stage.
In the following days, the audience will be entertained by Petar Grašo, Hiljson Mandela, Baks, the band Jonathan, Indira, and Klapa Šufit. These are the names already confirmed for this year's edition.
In addition to concerts, visitors will be able to enjoy a gastronomic offer. Along the Karlovac promenade and in the Gastro Corner, traditional specialties and modern street food will be available. The organizers emphasize that visitors will be able to sample a variety of flavors in one place.
For beer enthusiasts, the World of Beer zone will open once again. There, domestic and imported beers will be showcased, along with brands typically available only on the Croatian market. The price of the most sought-after item is also known: half a liter of draft Karlovačko beer will cost 2.50 euros during the festival.
For those coming from Zagreb, free transport has been arranged. A special festival train will run on the Zagreb-Karlovac-Zagreb route, allowing visitors to reach the festival without a car and return home after the program.
Visitors who wish to get to know the city during their stay can explore the Old Town Dubovac, the Nikola Tesla Experience Center, the freshwater aquarium Aquatika, or the Homeland War Museum in Turanj. For a refreshing break, there's Foginovo kupalište (Fogin's Bathing Area), and a stroll down Radićeva Street is also a great option. The city's brewing tradition spans over 170 years, so this is an opportunity to delve into it.
