Ukrainian drones destroyed a large sorting and logistics center of the Russian e-commerce company Wildberries in the city of Aleksin, Tula Oblast, during the night of August 4-5, 2026. The facility was completely engulfed in flames and is expected to burn to the ground.
Sources disagree on the exact area of the affected center, but all confirm it is one of the largest logistics facilities in the country. The Telegram channel NOELREPORTS UA cites an area of 190,000 square meters in one post and 194,500 m² in another, adding that the warehouse was among the ten largest in Russia. The Israeli channel Abu Ali Express mentions 200,000 m², while the Russian source Voenkor Kotenok cites a significantly smaller figure of over 106,000 m². Regardless of the differing estimates, the fire completely destroyed the facility.
This is not the first such attack. According to the source CyberBoroshno, as reported by NOELREPORTS UA, this is the 13th destroyed Wildberries warehouse. The company has a total of 25 key logistics facilities, and the attacks have already taken a serious toll: 62.1% of the total warehouse space has been destroyed, while an additional 24.5% has been damaged. Only 13.4% of capacity remains untouched.
According to the source Voenkor Kotenok, Russian forces shot down as many as 475 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles during the night. The drones were intercepted over 14 regions, including Belgorod, Bryansk, Kursk, Moscow, Rostov, and Saratov oblasts, as well as over the Republic of Crimea, Tatarstan, Krasnodar Krai, and the waters of the Azov and Black Seas.
Despite the large number of downed drones, the attack on the Wildberries center in Aleksin shows that Ukrainian forces continue to breach Russian defenses and inflict significant damage on critical logistics infrastructure.
