Unlike typical rankings that rely solely on looks, Corona Beach 100 evaluates beaches based on three specific criteria: connection with nature, the culture of seaside living, and visual appeal. This year's edition introduced 27 new locations, including the Croatian representative.
Golden Horn has long been regarded as one of the most recognizable beaches on the Adriatic. It is known for its distinctive pebble cape that changes shape throughout the day under the influence of wind, waves, and sea currents. Swimmers, divers, and surfers often visit this beach, which is surrounded by a pine forest and offers views of the Brač hillsides.
The list also includes some of the world's most famous beaches, such as Australia's Whitehaven Beach, Brazil's Praia do Bonete, France's Dune du Pyla, Indonesia's Pink Beach, and Barafundle Bay in Wales.
