Three months before opening, Croatia's largest nautical fair records record demand, and organizer Ilirija d.d., with support from Zadar County and the City of Biograd, secures additional space.
Three months before the opening of the 28th edition of the Biograd Boat Show, demand for exhibition space is unprecedented, the organizers reported. According to information from the Morski portal, "over 400 exhibitors and 500 vessels are coming." Due to the great interest, the company Ilirija d.d., which manages the fair, in cooperation with Zadar County and the City of Biograd, is securing additional space for exhibitors on the waiting list.
The Biograd Boat Show serves the nautical market of at least ten neighboring countries, and this year the fair will host numerous new exhibitors and international companies representing new vessel brands. Business participants will have at their disposal the new Biograd B2B app, which includes a business directory with an overview of products and services, a system for easy meeting scheduling, and reminders for key events.
The Croatian Chamber of Economy (HGK) is organizing the jubilee 10th edition of "HGK Days of Croatian Nautics", a four-day congress program to be held from October 21 to 24, 2026. It is a key forum for dialogue with authorities and shaping future nautical policies. At the same time, on October 21 and 22, Hall D will host the 8th Croatia Charter Expo, a specialized event for the yacht charter industry. The Croatian charter fleet, by far the largest in the world with over 3,000 vessels, will meet with international agents, brokers, and suppliers.
According to Antena Zadar, the nautical market has stabilized, and sellers are coming to the fair with well-stocked inventories, guaranteeing customers more favorable prices and fast delivery times. During the day, visitors tour the exhibition spaces in Marina Kornati, while in the evening the program moves to the center of Biograd na Moru with a rich entertainment program and gastronomic offerings.
The Biograd Boat Show is a golden member of the International Federation of Boat Show Organizers (IFBSO), and its long-term success is the result of cooperation between Ilirija d.d., loyal exhibitors, the City of Biograd, the Croatian Tourist Board, and HGK. From humble beginnings, it has grown into one of the world's most significant nautical fairs and represents a key platform for promoting Croatian nautics on the global stage.
