On August 7, 2026, Ston hosted a special Polish-Croatian evening that brought together more than 500 Polish tourists, as reported by Dubrovnik Portal. The central figure of the event was Robert Makłowicz, a well-known Polish journalist, gastronome, and travel writer, who presented his new book on that occasion.
The evening was held in the beautiful setting of the Kaštio fortress, and the organizers emphasize that it was an exceptional promotion of Ston, its rich history, gastronomy, and tourist offerings on the Polish market. The event attracted a large number of visitors, and the figure of over 500 Polish tourists in Ston on that occasion speaks volumes about the significance of such events.
