The last week of August will once again infuse Zagreb's Strossmayer Square with a Latin American vibe. The Fiesta Latina festival returns for its second edition, offering seven days filled with food, drinks, and music, from August 24 to 30, 2026. The centerpiece of the program is a gastronomic lineup inspired by the cuisines of South and Central America.
Zagreb's Chefs Lead the Culinary Offer
The square will host 11 stalls, with several backed by familiar faces from the local culinary scene. Mario Mihelj will showcase his specialties with Tres Tacos, Ivan Temšić through the Noel* Street concept, and Tom Gretić arrives with Taquería Cato and Street Food.
Visitors can also sample dishes from Sabor by Soirée, Papoy Latina by Matija Pavlic, and Cubano Institute for Burgers by Mate Janković. The lineup is rounded out by Nachurros, Where's Jura? by Juraj Klepić, Blend bar by Filip Lipnik, and La Casa Central. The weekend brings a special guest, Exotic King, offering fresh tropical fruit grown in the Zagreb area.
Mexican Tortillas, Cuban Sandwiches, and Tropical Cocktails
The menu will be rich with Mexican tortillas and tacos, Cuban sandwiches, and Peruvian ceviche. For those with a sweet tooth, there are churros, Tres Leches cake, and other desserts. Thirsts will be quenched with natural lemonades and tropical cocktails, with more unusual fusions also announced, such as a blend of French and Latin cuisine, along with a variety of street food dishes.
Dance, Cooking, and Mixology for Free
Fiesta Latina is not just about food and drink. Throughout the week, there will be DJ performances and various party programs. The organizers have also prepared free workshops in dance, cooking, and cocktail making, led by experienced professionals. For seven days, Strossmayer Square will become the epicenter of authentic Latin atmosphere in the heart of Zagreb.
