Rovišće Municipality Collects Resumes for Future Team at SRC Izvor in Predavac, and the Required English Proficiency Reveals They Expect International Guests.
The new sports and recreation center in Predavac near Bjelovar is entering its final preparation phase for opening, and the Rovišće Municipality has already begun collecting resumes for future employees. As reported by Klikni.hr on August 13, 2026, candidates for receptionist and waiter positions are required to have advanced English proficiency, while cleaning staff are expected to have basic knowledge, which already hints at the type of guests the center anticipates.
This is the largest project in the history of the Rovišće Municipality. The total investment in the sports and recreation center, which will operate under the name "Izvor," amounts to €6.84 million. 87 percent of that sum, nearly €6 million, comes from non-refundable European Union funds through the NextGenerationEU program.
What sets SRC Izvor apart is its offering, which is rarely seen in smaller communities. The site will feature a four-star hotel, an outdoor recreational pool, and a multifunctional hall intended for sports and cultural activities. Outdoor courts for soccer, padel, table tennis, street workout, fitness, and a trim trail are also planned, along with storage areas and covered parking.
In addition to receptionists, waiters, and cleaning staff, the center is also looking for cooks, assistant cooks, and technical maintenance personnel. The Municipality emphasizes that this call is not a formal job posting nor does it guarantee employment; rather, it serves as an initial collection of potential candidates. Formal hiring processes with precise conditions will be announced later, in accordance with legal regulations.
